Financial Planning Services
- Cash Flow Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will analyze your current income and expenses and recommend specific courses of action to facilitate the funding of your various financial goals and objectives.
- Investment and Portfolio Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will evaluate your investment goals, concerns, risk profile, current portfolio, and determine the potential of your current investment strategy to meet your goals. Colonial Wealth Management will prepare an asset allocation analysis and create a strategy consistent with your risk tolerance and incorporate the parameters and constraints that govern the management of your portfolio. We will coordinate the implementation of your investment portfolio.
- Insurance Needs and Policy Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will evaluate your insurance needs, including life, disability and long-term care and will analyze the adequacy of your current insurance coverage. We will provide recommendations to help ensure your insurance program minimizes the financial risk to your assets and indemnifies you for insurable losses. With respect to life insurance, Colonial Wealth Management will determine the dollar amount and type of insurance policy needed to meet your goals and coordinate your life insurance policy needs with your estate planning needs.
- Financial Independence Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will determine, based upon currently available data and assumptions, the savings and investments necessary to help you achieve your financial independence goals. Colonial Wealth Management will also analyze the sensitivity of your goals to inflation and expected rates of return, and assist with coordination of your savings plan, asset allocation and investment strategy.
- Executive Benefit and Retirement Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will analyze savings plans, stock options, restrictive stock agreements, retirement plans, payout alternatives and payout timing choices to develop strategies that could potentially minimize tax consequences and maximize your economic benefit. We will coordinate your employee benefits with your overall asset allocation and financial goals.
- Education Funding Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will utilize educational funding data to determine the amount and timing of savings required to fund private school, college and/or graduate school tuition and fees including room and board for your family members.
- Income Tax Review
Colonial Wealth Management will review recent income tax returns and project future income tax liabilities and help make recommendations to minimize your tax liability. In addition, we will provide investment portfolio tax harvesting to reduce capital gain and dividend taxes. Colonial Wealth Management will coordinate with your asset allocation and investment strategies to make recommendations to minimize your tax liabilities. We do not provide tax advice, please consult a tax advisor.
- Estate Plan Analysis
Colonial Wealth Management will analyze your current estate planning documents and make recommendations to help you minimize your estate tax liability, identify if you may be fully utilizing your exemption amount, avoiding the probate process and determining whether or not your estate planning documents are consistent with your current intentions. After reviewing the estate planning recommendations, should changes be needed, we will coordinate with your estate planning attorney to make the necessary changes. The plan may involve the implementation of wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, family limited partnerships, durable powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney and other estate planning techniques necessary to meet your objectives. Colonial Wealth Management will assist your estate planning attorney to properly title your assets and designate beneficiaries so you may benefit from current estate tax law to potentially minimize your estate tax liability and pass the maximum asset value to your heirs. Fee Calculation
- 1/4 of 1% of total family assets
- This calculation is not based on assets under management or net worth. The amount of the total assets can be somewhat subjective and is calculated on the assets and/or liabilities advised upon.
- Minimum Annual Fee - $5,000
- Maximum Annual Fee - $20,000.
Frequency
- 100% of the projected fee will be invoiced upon signature of our financial planning agreement.
- The annual wealth planning fee will be invoiced upon each client anniversary.
